The Bird Nerds admittedly have a lot of catching up to do on the blog before one of the most exciting events of the year happens next weekend- Fall Migration in Cape May, New Jersey. To hold all of you fans over while we get our summer adventures documented, we present to you- Who Wore it Best? Many different species share similar styles. Here North America’s hottest birds compete in a feather face-off to see who wore it best. You decide in this Bird Nerd Challenge!
Red-hot style. Scarlet Tanager vs. Northern Cardinal
Hermit Thrush vs. Ovenbird- both looking grounded in neutrals. But do you prefer spots or stripes?
American Goldfinch vs. Wilson’s Warbler. Both look chic in bright yellow with black caps. But who accessorizes this look better- do you prefer the Goldfinch’s orange beak and black and white tail, or Wilson’s taupe tail and more subtle beak style?
Atlantic Puffin vs. American Oystercatcher. Both exude classic elegance in black and white with orange accent beaks. But who owns the look more?
